Help !!

We hope we have made our model superstore easy to use, however, just in case you are having difficulties here are a few pointers.

General

Do you have a menu across the top of the page, if you do not then you probably have some kind of blocking program or firewall stopping it working - the menu is only Javascript and is not a threat to your PC, but some popular firewalls (think of an old British motorbike manufacturer and you have the name!) treat it as a pop up. Tell the firewall this site is to be ignored and it all should work

The menu code is called by the browser when the page has finished loading - so you have to wait for all the images to load before you can use the drop down menus.

Yes we do use cookies - the only information stored in them is the items you have placed in you shopping basket and you details if you choose to store them on the PC (you are given the option to save your details when you place an order). We do not abuse cookies by using them for click thru information or any of the other little nasties which some sites seem to do!

The site is hosted on a dedicated server (ours is the only site on the server) with a large bandwidth to ensure that the site loads quickly and works well, unfortunatley things can get slowed down between our server and you - all we can do is ensure that our server is up to speed, the rest of the web is not anything we can speed up.

We get thousands of hits a day, so if the site doesn't work it probably is something on your PC, however, we do know that servers sometimes fail, software falls over etc, so if you are having problems then let us know and we will do our best to help!

Shopping

To buy from our store, the first thing you have to do is add the items you want to buy to the shopping basket. To do this, find the item you wish to purchase, locate the BUY button directly to the right of the item, then:

1) Enter the quantity you want to buy in the white box, then press the BUY button next to it. Please note that all quantities are initially set to 1 unless this is a multi-pack item, for example, some servos are cheaper if you buy four or more.

2) If there is no quantity box, just press the BUY button to add one to your shopping basket - you can always change the quantity later in REVIEW BASKET if you want to buy more than one.

To purchase the items in your basket, or to see what you have added, press the REVIEW BASKET button in the top right hand corner of the screen. If you have added an item to your basket by mistake, you can remove it whilst you are reviewing your basket.

From here, to proceed with your purchase press the CASHIER button. When entering your details the system will prompt you with help messages at the bottom of the screen.
